Recently, Sinopec Yangzi Petrochemical, relying on a new polyethylene process and catalyst independently developed by Sinopec, successfully developed and continuously produced ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) products with a molecular weight of over 10 million. Key performance indicators have reached international advanced levels, filling the technological gap in China's continuous production of 10 million molecular weight UHMWPE products using domestically developed catalysts. This achievement provides strong support for the development of China's high-end polyolefin new materials industry chain and supply chain.
